I’ve gotten a bit behind on a few things and one of them is blog awards. Danielle, Angelina — mea culpa! I’m so sorry it’s taken me this long to post ladies.

This first sweet award comes from Danielle at Delightfully Sweet (who posts some wonderfully delicious recipes).

This next award comes from a new blogger friend, angelina la dawn tomato (whose 1930s inspired garb I just adore).

Here are 10 very true things about me:
1. I love giraffes.
2. I missed Halloween in fifth grade because I was sick with scarlet fever. I’m all about the old-fashioned diseases.
3. I have horrible flexibility and really do need to put myself in a yoga class.
4. I miss singing and acting on stage a lot. Like whoa a lot.
5. I wish I could wear dresses every day. Pretty ones.
6. When I was born, I had black hair. It eventually went blonde, then I turned it red.
7. I’d rather go to the mountains than the beach. Unless it’s snowing, then it’s the beach all the way.
8. I don’t like it when other people fold my laundry.
9. I believe in always making the best of the situations you’re in.
10. I’m getting a (night) retainer this month. My teeth have shifted a bit since the braces came off way back in 8th grade.
