NativeVermont‘s beautiful art makes me want to travel north to see the sky at night, that crystal clear sky that you can only see far from city lights.
Or trudge out in the snow to discover where that owl is hooting from (there’s always one near my parents’ home).
And the way he shades the sky? I realize I don’t watch enough sunsets for long enough.
It turns out, his twin brother, who has etsy shop GeminiStudio, is an equally talented artist.
(Yes, I will go to Italy someday. Helps that M is Italian and has lots of family there.)
He does have artwork featuring dogs that aren’t dachshunds, but I grew up with this breed and couldn’t help myself. (Erin, I thought of Bailey too.)
Oh, and if that isn’t enough, NativeVermont’s father-in-law does custom framing and woodworking. All this talent is so inspiring.

Oddly enough, I’ve lived within a few hours of the northern lights all my life, but I’ve never actually gone to see them. Maybe this summer I should road trip.

I had him instead of the city do my last night and the “streets and neighborhoods” are streets and neighborhoods from my husband’s single days and my single days mixed in with ones that we shared.. it’s one of the most personal and meaningful pieces we have. And he (he?) was a pleasure to work with.
