I’ve noticed more companies writing manifestos these days. And each time I read one, I find myself inspired.

I recently wrote a manifesto for my food blog (yes, that was my summer project — promise to share it soon), and I think I may work on a personal manifesto, something I can put on my wall someday.
Other awesome manifestos: the Ne0-Traditionalist Manifesto by Katie Armour, the Aardvark Manifesto…
Do you know of any inspiring manifestos? What would be on yours?
{first manifesto from Holstee, second from Lululemon}

Love manifestos! Always make you think. My personal favorite has always been “If you don’t like something, change it.” I also like “You are responsible for your own happiness.”
Hm, never thought of writing one, but Katie’s manifesto might be my motivation to do it!
I have the Aardvark Manifesto. Love it.
This reminds me a little of a song that came out in my last year or two of high school “wear sunscreen” a whole song dedicated to the manifesto.
i love that first one! such good reminders!
LOVE this! I’ll have to feature this over at Unstitched!
ooh, I’ve been trying to write a manifesto for so long! I think it is just one of those things that will just come to you when you’re ready. do you know what I mean? I love the lulu lemon manifesto. can’t wait to see your food blog
xx
oh i love manifestos as i too am always greatly inspired by them. i think i should start reading one every morning on the topic of fear. fear often gets in the way of all the things i want to do in life. something about “feel the fear, and do it anyway.”
Oh, what fantastic inspiration!
Wow what through manifestos…they pretty much cover everything =) I’m really liking these mantra prints too! What a great way to add inspiration in the house in the form of reminders.
oops I meant “thorough” in my comment, not “through” =/
Love these two examples, especially the top one. I’ve been working on my manifesto (or actually credo, I’ve always liked that word) for a while now. It is kind of funny, I think I am stalling because if I write it down and put it up I will actually have to really and truly start doing what it says, and that is a bit scary. But I need to bite the bullet already, they are so inspiring and like the first one reminds us, life is short.
They are great. I would love to sit down and write one for myself and one for my creative business endevours!
I can’t wait to see your food blog!
Be kind and count to 10!
Oh, and I am super excited to see your food blog. I know it will be amazing!
I love this post!!!! The top manifesto is so awesome and inspiring – I need to print that out and have it on my desk – LOVE IT!! I find things like this to be so inspiring – it’s such a great reminder that we need to just jump in and go for what makes us happy!
I love manifestos I made some for us to remind us of the reasons why we live the way we do. LOVE these!

I like your manifesto. And food blog…I didn’t know you had one. How exciting
This has really inspired me to write my own. I have no idea what I would put on it yet, but I just love the idea of setting it up in a poster format with some really cool typography like these two examples. I’m going to have to check out this food blog of yours!
i needed to read this today – i feel like i’m in a rut
These are always inspiring to me too, and once you start reading them you can’t stop!

Very cool and creative idea.
i love the shopping bags that lululemon has … i think they’re the best multi-purpose bags. i like to take mine to the grocery store. also, they have the cutest inspirational water bottles for running.
GREAT POST!!! perfect way to get my butt in gear this Friday morning.
Have a good weekend.
After a very trying weekend, this is exactly what I needed to hear! I often feel myself in a rut and its manifestos like these that put everything back into perspective!
Thanks for a great start to my Sunday morning
P.S. I love the line “If you don’t have enough time, stop watching TV.”So true!
I am inspired! I am going to start a manifesto of my own. Shouldnt we all have one?
