I like to think that I don’t need much — just a sweet cabin with a good fireplace and a proper size oven (those half ovens never cut it in my book).

I would spend weeks on end there writing, exploring, and watching the sun rise and set.
As much as I love living in a city, sometimes you need a scene like this.

Where would you most like a little cabin to call your own?

i love that the guy in the top pic is wearing overalls. OVERALLS!
Me, I ‘d love a little cabin by the sea that would inspire me to write and make art
Oh, I like the look of that studio. Check out all the windows! Mine has one window and it’s frosted. I’d trade in a heartbeat
oh my, that last photo. what a place for a cabin. can you imagine waking up and looking out the window?! breathtaking! hope you are well! have a happy happy weekend! xx
Cabin Porn? Done. Checking it out now. You’re posts are always inspiring and leave me thinking. Where, oh where, would I place my dream cabin? I’d carry it to Austria and place it between Vienna, where I could be closer to my sister and Salzburg, a place I dream of visiting.
BTW, we have a little freebie for our readers who love to see beautiful to pay it forward today. We have no doubt you’ll dig it. No doubt at all.
That cabin looks idyllic. I think that may be my perfect place for a secluded home.
I have so many cabin dreams it’s not even funny. Except for being alone in the woods. Let’s not talk about that. I’m a scardy cat in the dark.
wow, that last one!
i would write, and read, and daydream, and make art. bliss.
anywhere there are mountains and sea.
enjoy your end of week!
I’ve always wanted a cabin, a retreat, secluded in some quiet place–a mountain range would be perfect. All your mountain pictures this week are bringing back some wonderful memories for me. I’ve really enjoyed them!
a cabin escape is the dream! if i could have my way, i would love a cabin in muir woods, big sur, and ojai.
I can practically smell the wood burning in that first photo – how beautiful!
I usually think in The Lake House:

Wishing you a Wonderful and Warm Weekend, wherever you are.
I’ll take that glass studio stat! It’s beautiful! I agree a combo between city & country life is a must. Have a great weekend b!!
a little stone cottage in Donegal perhaps?
I’d take a cabin anywhere! Even in the backyard! A little space just for me . . . and maybe someone special.
I’d love a cabin in Montana near Whitefish, MT, or perhaps in Alaska somewhere…anywhere that has a lot of green & snow in the winter! And thank you for giving me the link to Cabin Porn! Now I’m off to look at it for hours…
As I get older, I find myself more and more curious about where and how my parents and grandparents grew up. I would love a cabin somewhere in Southeast Asia to walk the grounds where my ancestors farmed, near the markets my mother frequented and by the school where my parents met. That would be some kind of wonderful, no?
I just found out about Cabin Porn last week and I am addicted! I would love a cabin in Big Sur or the Spanish Pyrenees
That is a gorgeous photo. A real treat for anyone!
ohhh i would love to have a little cute cabin of my own too. anywhere near the lake or even up in the mountains (like the swiss alps hehe). how you have been well, brandi. i’ve been so out of touch with the blog world. :-/
Is that last image real? How do you get to that little place of solace? Helicopter? Amazing.
