I’ve been trying to spend some time outdoors whenever I can lately, even though I’m on the East Coast and it’s winter. A walk in the woods is the perfect excuse to leave all my electronics behind and just be alone to reflect for a short time. I’ve been searching for a backpack to take with me on these journeys, and while I was looking, I stumbled across Infusion.

I really was just looking for a backpack, but all of the bags in this little shop would be perfect for one event or another: an afternoon walk, a picnic, shopping in town, going to class… And everything is made from natural, sustainable, organic, and recycled materials.

Don’t you just love when something as simple as a backpack or bag inspires a whole adventure?

Yes.
I adhered the backpack trend a while ago. Consequence of a shoulder pain that wouldn’t go away and no one could explain…
I must say that even though not on outdoorsy activities I’ve never enjoyed the simple rides from home to work or the odd errand on my lunch hour so much before.
It’s a freedom I had never experienced. (I tend to be distracted in my free time and I really need to remember the bag and the book and the umbrella. And I’m also downsizing and favoring things that would fit there)
I though I would risk being a pack mule – by throwing everything inside of it – but quite the contrary.
Loving the experience and now will enjoy the site you suggest. I’m hopless with all those tiny packages you can use to tidy your backpack contents.
Love you, Pretty Girl.
What a great little shop, will definitely check it out!
Land sakes, those are beautiful. I’ve been on the hunt for a backpack, too. I work for a university, and last summer I took to biking to work–but it made carrying everything I needed to take with me every day nearly impossible. These are really tempting.
I have so many things from their shop marked as favorites on Etsy. There’s a striped rucksack that I’ve been eyeing for ages.
That first one is really pretty. I’m still a messenger bag kind of girl because I just can’t stand purses slipping off my shoulder, but a backpack would do too. These are quite chic!
I am definitely a messenger bag kind of person or a rucksack gal. I absolutely love all your picks, especially the ones that are on the left column!
Wow, those are beautiful bags! (Easy on the wallet, too.) Thanks for sharing.
Oh yes! Well, whenever I go on a trip I always buy a new bag. It sets the tone for everything else and knowing you have enough space to carry the essentials is crucial. So, not quite the same as being inspired by a bag but whenever I shop for a bag I try to imagine myself carrying for all the activities I have planned.
Ooh! What a terrific find! Thanks for sharing
You’re right, these can make anyone want to go on an adventure right now. I love that one bag with the double straps holding the scarf. Getting too warm for a scarf, just tuck in the straps Easy.
I love it all, great find!
For me it’s always like that… Simple things inspire me to do big things.
Good blog, by the way. I enjoyed reading and looking at the pictures.
These really are fantastic. They look so European. I especially love the rucksack. Chic and versatile.
SO cute… love these… especially that first one!
